We will explore the two branches of Kanaka Creek in the Cliff Falls section of Kanaka Creek Regional Park. This moderate to easy hike, on rough trail surfaces, winds its way through a coastal forest and crosses Kanaka Creek and North Fork Kanaka Creek at several locations. The creeks are a spectacular sight with potholes, sandstone cliffs, numerous rapids, and a large waterfall. Roundtrip distance is 5 km (3.1 mi) with a cumulative elevation gain of 200 m (660 ft). Meet at 9:30am. Return 3:00 pm.
