The 17th annual Treefest takes place from 11 am to 4 pm on the Riverview Hospital grounds located at 2601 Lougheed Highway in Coquitlam.
The theme this year is “Heritage” and highlights will include an interactive session with a panel of people who grew up or worked on the hospital grounds. The panel will be led by Heritage Architect Don Luxton who will also lead his popular walking tour of the heritage buildings. Guided walking tours around the arboretum will be available on the hour, every hour. Other activities include community displays, live entertainment, the delicious Blackberry Tea held in Finnie’s Garden, children’s activities, workshops by GardenWorks, music and exhibits from the local arts community. Food and beverage services will be provided on site as well as a Pocket Farmer’s Market. BMN will be there with our displays and children’s puzzles.
